Microsoft offers the opportunity to test out Windows 7 with a 30 day trial. By using Command Prompt, you can easily extend this trial for up to 360 days! To check how many days you have left in your trial, click the Start button, right-click on Computer and click on "Properties". Now, scroll to the bottom of the page under where it says "Windows activation". I recommend you do this when you have one, or two if you wish to be safe, day before your trial expires.
Performing the hack is very simple. Click on "Start" and type in "Command Prompt". When the option to open it up appears, right-click on it and "Run as administrator". Simply type in the command "slmgr -rearm" without the quotation marks, and don't forget the space before the hyphen (-). You'll see a success dialogue box open up, telling you to restart your PC. Do so, then check how many days you have left on your trial, which should be another 30.
This command can be used for up to a total of three times, allowing you to get an extra 90 days. But this simply isn't enough! We want another year's worth of Windows 7. Fortunately, there is a simple registry hack we can take advantage of. In the Start menu, type in "regedit" and hit enter. Gain permission to access regedit if you need
